Shaffer - Leight marriage - 1905

At St. Patrick's church, Monona, Iowa, Wednesday, May 17, 1905, Rev. Hogan officiating, Edward Shaffer and Anna Leight were united in matrimony. The bride is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Leight, living two miles east of Monona, and the groom is a prosperous young farmer, and a son of Mr. and Mrs. Arno Shaffer, of this city. The couple will go to housekeeping on their farm a few miles south-east of here.
