Gleason - Munger marriage - 1905

At the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Munger, in this city, Saturday, May 18th, 1905, occurred the marriage of Miss Abbie F. Munger to Mr. Silas D. Gleason, of Hensel, N.D., Rev. Geo. W. Baxter, of the First Congregational church, performing the ceremony.

Miss Munger has grown to woman hood n our city and is acknowledged to be one of Clayton county's best teachers, having taught several terms in the Elkader school, also Edgewood and North McGregor.

Mr. Gleason spent some time here prior to 1890, when he went to Dakota, where he is now employed as agent and operator on the Great Northern Railroad at Hensel, N.D.

The young couple left this morning for their future home at Hensel, where they will be "at home" after June 1st. The best wishes of their friends are extended for a long and happy wedded life.
