Vorwald - Schroeder marriage - 1905

VORWALD, SCHROEDER, LUTHMERS

Mr. Edward Vorwald and Miss Minnie Schroeder were united in marriage Wednesday at St. Raphael's Cathedral at ten o'clock by Rev. Father Toomey. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Vorwald, of Dyersville, and is a prosperous farmer. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Schroeder, of Garnavillo. After the ceremony the young people repared to the home of the groom's aunt, Mrs. Elizabeth Luthmers, on Seminary hill, where a wedding dinner was served.- Dubuque times.
