Onken - Dittmer marriage - 1905

Wednesday afternoon the marriage of Josephine Dittmer, of this place, and Gerd. Onken, of Ireton, Ia., took place at St. John's Lutheran church, Rev. Janzig performing the ceremony. The attendants were John Tonges and Mary Onken, sister of the groom. The bride is the youngest daughter of Gustav Dittmer. The groom is a comparative stranger to our people but has won the esteem of those with whom he has become acquainted. They will reside on a farm near Ireton.
