Backhaus - Schlake marriage - 1905

Another wedding last week was that of Miss Ida Schlake and Henry Backhaus, which occurred at the bride's home, two miles south of town. Rev. Braun performed the ceremony. The attendants were John Schlake, brother of the bride, and Miss Louise Plath. The new couple expect to make their home on a farm at Manly.
