Married - March 1st, 1905, at the home of Rev. Sullivan, Updegraff, Ia., Geo. Gifford to Lizzie Ortman. The bride is the daughter of John Ortman, one of the solid German farmers of Elk twp., and is a young lady of rare worth in fact, one of our best girls in this part of the country. The groom is a son of P. P. Gifford and is a steady and industrious young man. The happy couple have hosts of friends who wish them a happy and prosperous life.
