Georges - Overbeck marriage - 1904

Married, at the M.E. church of Luana, on Tuesday last at 7:30 p.m., Miss Louisa Overbeck to Mr. John Georges. The bride's maids were the bride's sister, Miss Caroline Overbeck, of Postville; and the groom's sister Miss Georges, of Garnavillo. The groomsmen were the bride's brother, August Overbeck, of Dixon; and the groom's cousin, Mr. Cranbeer, of this place. The new couple will start a wedding journey to be among friends in Indiana, taking in sights at St. Louis. They will make their home in St. Paul.
