The event of week characterized into reality in north-east Monona at the residence of Miss Mary Rupp. The occasion was the marriage of Mr. Edward F. Slitor to Miss Mary M. Rupp, both of Monona. Pastor J. Emerson Grinnell performed the ceremony. The new couple took the two o'clock train for Winthrop, Iowa, where they will visit relatives for a week or so, when they will return to Monona where they will be "at home" to their many friends. The groom is well and favorably known in and around Monona, having been a resident here for many years. The bride is a product of Clayton county, and has lived most of her lifetime in Monona.
