Bennington - Steckelberg marriage - 1902

At this place Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 24th, 1902, at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Branch, grandparents of the groom, occurred the marriage of Lester E. Bennington, of Sperry twp., and Miss Emma Steckelberg, of Boardman twp., Rev. G. W. Baxter, of the Congregational church officiated. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Bennington, of Sperry twp., while the bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Steckleberg, of this twp., and is one of the excellent teachers of the county.

(Note the surname Steckelberg / Steckleberg was spelled both ways in the article.)
