On Wednesday, July 10, 1901, at St. Mary's church at 9 o'clock a.m., occurred the marriage of B.H. Floeder to Miss Mary Petschauer, both of this place. Rev. Brinkman performed the ceremony that united the contracting parties in the holy bonds of matrimony.
Albert Kappen performed the duties of best man while Miss Josie Pelzer acted as bridesmaid.
The groom is a man well known to the citizens of Guttenberg and possesses the qualifications to make home happy for the young lady he has chosen as his life partner.
The bride is a daughter of M. and Mrs. Petschauer, of near Garnavillo, and since she has been in our midst she has made many warm friends.
The newly wedded couple have gone to housekeeping in the residence owned by the groom in this city. The PRESS joins with their host of friends in wishing for them a long, prosperous and happy wedded life.
