Bates - Purman marriage - 1902

We learn that H. A. Bates, of Elkader, and Miss Estella Purman were married yesterday at Elkport. While we are without particulars we are pleased to add our congratulations. Mr. Bates is Theo. Niemeyer's assistant at the Bayless barber shop.

Word comes 0f the marriage at East Elkport on Wednesday of Bert Bates and Miss Purman. Bert is an old West Union boy and his many friends here wish Mr. and Mrs. Bates a long and happy life.- Union
