Schumacher - Ruktaschel marriage - 1902

SCHUMACHER, RUKTASCHEL, LEITHOLD, RUCKDASCHEL

Last week Thursday at the home of H. B. Crosby at Decorah, occurred the marriage of Sena Ruktaschel to Will Schumacher of this place. The bride, who during the past three or four years has been staying with her aunt Miss Margaret Leithold, is an accomplished young lady and of pleasing disposition. The groom a member of the firm of William Schumacher & Son is one of our most enterprising young business men and worthy of the fair bride he has won. Upon their arrival Monday evening they were heartily sernaded by the Garnavillo Cornet band. Their many friends join in tendering them the best wishes for their future welfare. They have gone to housekeeping in their new home on Main Street.
