Bowleyn - Sloan marriage - 1902

Thursday, April 3rd, at the residence of Archbishop Keane, in Dubuque, Miss Nellie Sloan and Martin Bowleyn, both of this place, were united in marriage, Archbishop Keane performing the ceremony. The bride's father, W. H. Sloan, accompanied them. The bride is the only daughter of W. H. Sloan and wife, of this place. Mr. Bowleyn is a young engineer on the White Line. They left Saturday afternoon for a weeks visit with kindred in Dubuque and other places. They will return next week and for a while reside with her parents.
