At the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. Margaret Dunker, at Sherburn, Minn., occurred the marriage of Henry L. Tyler, of this place, and Miss Helena A. Dunker, Rev. J. E. Ingham, of the Congregational church, officiating. Herman Dunker, brother of the bride, attended the groom, while Miss Maud I. Tyler, sister of the groom, attended the bride. The groom is the only son of Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Tyler, was raised to manhood in our city, is a graduate of our High School and also a graduate from both the commercial and shorthand departments of the W. B. U., at LaCrosse. He is bookkeeper and stenographer for W. F. Brundage, at Sherburn. The bride comes to us a stranger, but is said to be a young lady possessing the esteem of all. The young couple arrived in Elkader Friday evening and will be "at home" to friends after Feb. 1st.
Elkader Register, Thur. 16 Jan. 1902.
