Married - Hosfeldt - Vaupel. - At McGregor, on July 25th, 1879, by Rev. C. C. Cragin, Mr. F. W. Hosfeldt, of Floyd, Chickasaw County, and Miss Kate Vaupel, of Elkader.

The wedding, which took place at the residence of John Clemens, was a quiet one, but a few of the bride's relatives and friends were present. The bride is well and favorably known in Elkader, where she has resided for many years. She is the daughter of ex-treasurer Vaupel, and has been connected with the schools of Elkader.

The groom is well known throughout the county, having taught school at Garnavillo for sometime, but is now engaged at Floyd, Chickasaw County.
