MARRIED - Witt - Taake - At Clayton Center, Friday, April 18th, 1879, by Rev. Mr. Seifert, Mr. John Witt to Mrs. Sophia F. Taake, all of Clayton Center.

The wedding was attended by a large number from Elkader, the bride being the mother of Mrs. Fred B_sch and Mrs. George Wolf, while the groom is the father of Mrs. August Uecker. May it prove a happy union is the wish of all their friends.

Elkader Register, Thur., 24 Apr. 1879.
