Since my last to you, we have had several weddings in our vicinity, and I take pleasure in announcing the marriage of Mr. John Ihde, oldest son of one of our most prosperous farmers, to Miss Anna Thoma, oldest daughter of the late William Thoma. Though long anticipated, it was rather a surprise after all. There was a quiet wedding, and the sensible young couple began housekeeping soon after.
