Monlux - Foran marriage - 1899

On Tuesday, Oct. 3, 1899, in Dubuque, at the residence of Archbishop Hennessy, occurred the marriage of Mr. Charles W. Monlux and Miss Mayme E. Foran, by Rev. Father Toomey, of that place. This young couple are well and favorably known to many of our readers having been born and reared in this vicinity. The bride is a daughter of James Foran of Read, the groom is a young farmer of Wagner, and a son of Supervisor Wm. Monlux, of this place. They left the same day for Chicago and other points, after which they will return to Elkader and be at home at the Monlux homestead in Wagner, Oct. 25th.
