Tuesday morning a joyous party congregated at St. Joseph's church and witnessed Rev. J. F. Reilly perform the impressive ceremony that united Mr. John Brannon and Miss Lizzie Geraghty as man and wife.

Mr. Brannon is a prosperous young farmer from near Lawler, Iowa. The bride is a daughter of James Geraghty, one of the substantial farmers of Read township. They will soon be at home to their friends on their farm near Lawler.

Elkader Register, Thur., 25 May 1899.
