Schneider - Daugs marriage - 1929

SCHNEIDER, DAUGS

Victor E. Schneider, local contractor, and Miss Ruth Daugs, daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. A. Daugs, of Monona, were united in marriage in St. Paul's Lutheran church, in Monona last week Friday, Dec. 20. The couple was attended by Helena Daugs, sister of the bride, and Alex Schneider, nephew of the groom. The wedding march was played by Ruth Daugs, and two solo's, "Oh Promise Me" and "At Dawning" were sung by Palmer Daugs before and after the ceremony. The double ring ceremony was used by Rev. A. Daugs, father of the bride. Theidora and Charlotte Daugs acted as ushers. Mr. and Mrs. Schneider will make their home here and they are now located in their new home in West Elkader, recently built by the groom.
