Miss Lydia Mae Havens, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Havens of Osterdock, and Mr. Carl _. Haught of near Osterdock were united in marriage by Rev. Cleveland of Colsburg at the Bethel church on Thursday, June 20th. During the ceremony a very beautiful and appropriate vocal solo was rendered by Miss Clare Haught of Dubuque. The couple were attended by Miss Rosadell Haught of Colo, a sister of the groom, and Mr. Howard Havens of Dubuque, a brother of the bride. The bride is a graduate of Orange City, Iowa, high school, and of Coe college at Cedar Rapids. She has been engaged as teacher of English in the Junior High at Manchester and Orange City. The groom has been employed for the past several years by the Adams Mfg. Co. of Dubuque. Mr. and Mrs. Haught will make their home in Dubuque.
