Bowman - Goldsmith marriage - 1929

Last Wednesday afternoon at the Congregational parsonage occurred the marriage of Miss Frances Irene Goldsmith, of that place, to Donald E. Bowman, of Strawberry Point. Rev. A. S. Kilbourne, the pastor, officiated. The couple were attended by Miss Steele and Mrs. E. Bente, mother of the bride. The bride is the only daughter of Mrs. Ernest Bente of Elkader. She received her education in the Elkader schools. The groom is the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Bowman of this place. He attended the local school and is employed as a decorator. The couple autoed here in the evening and will be at home in the rear rooms over the G. F. Scofield store.
