Gerdes - Willms marriage 1928

At Monticello, last Wednesday morning at 10:30 o'clock, occurred the marriage of Miss Gretchen Willms and Mr. Harm Gerdes of Strawberry Point, at the St. Peter and Paul Lutheran church, Castle Grove, Rev. G. Wolf officiating. The bride was attended by Miss Edna Willms, maid of honor, and Misses Louise Willms and Etta Rose. Henry Gerdes was best man and his attendants were Clarence Willms and John Reents. One hundred guests were present at the wedding and reception afterwards at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Willms in Castle Grove township. The newlyweds will make their home on a farm near Strawberry Point.
