Clausing - Schmidt marriage - 1925

A pretty home wedding took place on Christmas Day at the F. H. Schmidt home when Miss Hilda Schmidt and Mr. Paul Clausing were united in marriage by Rev. Franke. The bride is well known here, having lived in Elkader most her life. She is a graduate of Elkader High School and attended the State University for several years, after which she entered the teaching profession. The groom is engaged in business in Waterloo, where the young couple will make their home after Jan. 15th. The couple left for Kansas City and points in Oklahoma where they will visit relatives of the groom.
