From the Monona Leader we learn of the marriage of Miss Ruth Bayless, former Elkader girl, to Oakley Beldon. The Leader says:
"A quiet wedding which was a surprise to the community occurred Tuesday forenoon at the Methodist parsonage when Mr. Oakley Beldon, of Monona, and Miss Ruth Bayless, of Elkader, were united in marriage by Rev. H. E. Morrow.
Oakley is a well known boy, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Beldon, who is now a linotypist. The bride is a well known girl of Elkader and has been attending Upper Iowa University at Fayette for the past two years.
Dinner was served to a small company at noon, and the bride and groom left on the 12:45 train for Elkader and other points. They carry with them the hearty congratulations and best wishes of all their friends."
