On Thursday, Oct. 01, occurred the marriage of Miss Eva James of this place to Mr. Floyd Schenke of Colesburg, at Manchester. They left at once for a visit with relatives in Waterloo, Webster City and St. Paul. The bride is the only daughter of Mr. ad Mrs. Wm. James of this place. She graduated from East Waterloo High School and spent three years teaching in the rural schools here. The groom is the only son of Mr. and Mrs. George Schenke of Colesburg, and is a prosperous young farmer. They will make their home on the groom's father's farm south of Colesburg.
