Last Tuesday, June 2nd, at the Lutheran church in Highland township the Misses Josephine and Cornelia Benson, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. B. M. Benson, were given in marriage.
Miss Cornelia Benson was united in marriage to Philman Embretson, of St. Olaf, and Miss Josephine was joined in wedlock with Ray Mollerman. Rev. Gunsten of Clermont performed the ceremony.
The brides finished the eighth grade in Dist. No. 2, Highland township, at the same time, were confirmed together and graduated from the Elkader High School. Miss Josephine Benson taught school for several years and Cornelia Benson has been assistant in the office of the County agent the past four years.
The young couples left on a wedding trip through Minnesota and after July 1, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Mollerman will be at home on the groom's farm near Lansing, and Mr. and Mrs. Philman Embretson will reside at St. Olaf where Mr. Embretson is employed as rural mail carrier.
