Zapf - Maher marriage - 1925

On Wednesday May 27, 1925, at St. Joseph's church occurred the marriage of Callista M. Maher, youngest daughter of Mr. P. J. Maher of Elkader, and Clarence A. Zapf, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Zapf of Garnavillo, Iowa, Rev. J. F. Taken officiating. The attendants were Miss Luella Maher, the bride's sister, and Mr. Arthur Berns of Garnavillo, Iowa.

The young couple left in the afternoon for a short wedding trip, after which they will be at home on the groom's farm near Volga City, where their many friends wish them happiness and success throughout life's journey.
