Gratke - DeShaw marriage - 1925

Last Thursday afternoon in Manchester at the First Presbyterian parsonage Rev. M. C. Duffie united in marriage Mr. Joe Gratke of this place and Miss Belle DeShaw of Hopkinton. The wedding was a quiet one, and the couple were unattended. The bride, whose home is in Hopkinton, was English teacher in our public school, and is now in a similar position in the consolidated school at Lamont, where she will continue until the end of the term. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Gratke, and has lived his whole life here.
