Humphrey - Regan marriage - 1897

HUMPHREY, REGAN

Tuesday, at St. Joseph's church, was solemnized the marriage of Miss Calista Regan, second daughter of the late P. Regan, and Mr. James Humphrey of this place. The pastor, Rev. J. F. Reilly officiated, assisted by Rev. Father's O'Donnell, of McGregor, and Hogan of Monona. Richard V. Humphrey, of Monona, cousin of the groom, served as groomsman, and Miss Julia Lynch, of Elkader, as bridesmaid. Among the guests were James Humphery and his daughter Annie, father and sister of the groom; Richard, Jr., Louis, Mamie, Kate and Bird Humphrey, cousins of the groom.
