Last Thursday, Oct. 25th, 1900 Miss Cecella Duff and Benjamin McKean were joined in holy matrimony at the home of the bride's parents, Rev. W. H. McCuskey officiating. Miss Hattie Goodwin was bride's maid, while the groom was attended by the bride's brother, Robert W. Duff. The bride is a daughter of Robert and Isabella Duff. The groom is a young man of sterling qualities and character. The bride and groom graduated in the same class at Iowa State Normal school and both hold state certificates. They took the train to Waterloo, to visit a brother of the groom, thence to Sac county where the groom's parents live. After the visiting is over they will go to their home at Winside, Neb, where the groom is editor of the Winside Tribune and is an expert at his calling.
The guests were: Rev. and Mrs. McCuskey, the bride's brothers and sisters and their families, Mrs. Cecella Duff, Nettie and Mamie Duff, Freddie and Marlon Smith, Frankie and Alvin Kimpston and Euphemia Probert.
