The Louis Diers place in Read twp., near Motor, was the scene of a happy event Wednesday, the occasion being the wedding of Frank Bente and Miss Lena Scheer, Rev. G. W. Baxter officiating. The attendants were Miss Kate Bente and Wm. Meese. The groom is a son of Wm. Bente, and is a industrious young farmer. The bride is a daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Scheer of Littleport. Mr. and Mrs. Bente will settle down to the realities of life on the farm where they were married.
