Altschul - Bente marriage - 1900

From the Dubuque Herald we learn that a wedding ceremony was performed at the Hotel Paris, Tuesday, the parties being Mr. Adolph Altschul and Miss Mary Bente, of Elkader. They were attended by Frank Bente, brother of the bride, and Miss Lena Schier. Justice Kessler performed the ceremony. The groom is one of our leading merchants. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Bente, of Cox Creek. After a wedding trip to Chicago they will go to housekeeping in one of the flats in the Molumby block. We extend congratulations.
