A very pretty home wedding occurred at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kolker Wednesday, Oct. 18, when their daughter Ruth and Wilbur D. Weyant were united in marriage. Rev. D. D. Welsh of Dubuque officiated. The wedding march was played by Miss Opal Borrett, cousin of the bride. The couple were unattended. The bride is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kolker, grew to womanhood in this community, she graduated from the Guttenberg High School in 1920. The groom is the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Weyant of Edgewood, Iowa. He holds a position with the government as mail clerk working out of Milwaukee, Wis., which position he has held for the past year. They will take up residence in Milwaukee.
