Nuss - Melaray marriage - 1922

Yesterday morning (Wednesday) at St. Joseph's church in this city, Father Taken united in marriage Miss Margaret Melaray of this place and Emery Nuss of Minnesota. The young couple were attended by Mike Melaray of this place and Miss Martina Carroll of Durango, Iowa. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Melaray of Boardman township and is well and favorably known in this community. The groom, although a stranger to us is an industrious young man. Immediately after the ceremony the young couple left on a wedding trip and on their return will make their home here at Elkader. May they enjoy a long and happy wedded life.
