Mr. H. C. McChesney and Miss Ruth Lovett were married Saturday at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Lovett, Rev. W. H. Smith officiating. It was a quiet home wedding. Ruth has lived in Volga since childhood only when attending school. She has attended at Mount Vernon, the State University of Minnesota, and graduated from Cedar Falls, after which she taught the Harlan, Iowa, High School for three years and at Ossian one year, when she went to New York City, where she was assistant in the Y.W.C.A., from there she went to Troy, New York, where she had charge of the cafeteria in the Y.W.C.A. until she resigned to come home. Mr. McChesney is practically a stranger here but comes highly recommended, having lived in the west until the last few years. They will live in La Crosse, Wis., where he is in business.
