Berns - Matt marriage - 1922

Before a large congregation of relatives and friends the nuptial vows were taken January 18, in St. Michaels church in Garber, Iowa, by Viola E. Matt, oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Matt, and Amedaus H. Berns of Guttenberg, Iowa, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Berns. Rev. D. T. Minogue officiated. The attendants were Miss Theodora Berns, sister of the groom, and Earl Matt, brother of the bride. The new couple left for a honeymoon to Tilston, Manitoba, Canada, ad other point, and will then go to housekeeping on a farm near Garber.
