Dietrich - Bruns marriage - 1933

A very pretty wedding took place Wednesday, Oct. 11th, in St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran church at Garnavillo, when Miss Gladys Bruns, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Bruns, became the bride of Erwin Dietrich, oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Dietrich. The Rev. M. J. Harder officiated the double ring ceremony. The bride's only niece, little Mary Lou Wagner, acted as flower girl, and the couple were attended by Miss Gertrude Klemp of Guttenberg, a cousin of the groom, and Herbert Bruns, brother of the bride. Mr. and Mrs. Dietrich will make their home for the present with the groom's parents.
