MONONA: In the prettiest Monona wedding this fall, Miss Helen L. Ferguson became the bride of Bruce Z. Tapper in the First Methodist church, Friday afternoon at two o'clock. The Rev. Louis H. Joslin performed the double-ring ceremony. The wedding march was rendered by Miss Maria Jane Tapper, sister of the groom. the attendants being Miss Evelyn Ferguson, sister of the bride, and Willard Tapper, brother of the groom. Woodrow Tapper and Howard Bernhard were ushers. Mrs. Tapper is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred E. Ferguson, a graduate of the local high school and college at Mt. Vernon. She is a successful teacher and a talented musician. The groom is the second son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Tapper and holds a position of secretary of the Union Farmers Co-Op Creamery Co., and assistant buttermaker. He is a graduate of the Monona high school. They left on a honeymoon to points in the east, after which the new home will be made in an apartment over the local post office.
