Mrs. Mildred Carpenter, daughter of Mrs. Thomas H. Kelly of Lamont, was married to Valmah T. Price, Jr., son of Mrs. Nelly Peery Price of this place, Wednesday, Oct. 4th, at the residence of the Rev. Father Boyle in Strawberry Point. A wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride's mother and among the guests were: Miss Darlene Carpenter, Strawberry Point; Mrs. Thomas H. Kelly, Lamont; Mrs. Teresa K. Redman, Lamont; Mrs. C. A. Shinofield, Storm Lake; Mrs. Ralph Feeney, Strawberry Point; Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Sharp; Mrs. Nelly Peery Price, Elkader; the Rev. Father Boyle, Strawberry Point. Mr. and Mrs. Price left on a honeymoon trip to the Black Hills, the Yosemite Valley and Lake Tahoe. They plan to make their home in Southern California.
