Thursday evening at the Garber Inn, Garber, occurred the wedding of Miss Geneva Zimpfer, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Zimpfer of Garber, to Russel Huggins, Eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Pearl Huggins of Elkader. The Rev. C. T. Brewster officiated. Mrs. Mary Culver, great-grandmother of the groom, and Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Lamm, grandparents of the groom, all of Steamboat Rock, were present. The young couple was attended by Miss Edna Zimpfer, sister of the bride, and Daryl Huggins, brother of the groom. Boyd Huggins served as ringbearer, and Bernadine Zimpfer as flower girl. Mr. and Mrs. Huggins will make their home with the formers parents in Elkader.
