Fenton - Alderson marriage - 1932

Cox Creek: Mr. and Mrs. Miles Alderson of near Strawberry Point last week announced the marriage of their daughter Marcella to Eldon R. Fenton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Fenton, of near Strawberry Point. The ceremony was performed December 24, 1932, at Galena, Ill. by Rev. Bets. The bride graduated from Strawberry Point normal training high school at Strawberry Point with the class of 1930 and since graduating has taught the school where she received her grade education. The groom has been employed in farming, which work he will continue as the young couple expect to reside on the Frank Fenton farm.
