The marriage of Miss Hazel Probert, daughter of Oakland Probert of this place, to Herman Peterman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Peterman, Sr., of Wadena, occurred at Oelwein on Monday, March 6. The ceremony took place at the Presbyterian church with Rev. Hautier officiating. The attendants were Miss Jean Duff and Dean Probert. Mrs. Peterman was born and raised in this community, and graduated from the local high school. She completed a two year course at I.S.T.C. at Cedar Falls, and the past five years she taught in the rural schools of this county. The groom graduated from Wadena high school and later attended school in Chicago, where he took up Electrical Engineering and specialized radio work. After a wedding trip they will be at home on the Probert farm north of here.
