Waring - Gentz marriage - 1928

Miss Rubie B. Gentz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Gentz of Edgewood, and Mervin H. Waring, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Waring, of Strawberry Point, were united in marriage here in the Evangelical church by Rev. C. H. Franke, Wed., Sept. 12th, at eleven o'clock in the morning. The ceremony was witnessed by Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gentz. As a part of the ceremony Miss Christine Schmidt, of Elkader, sang "I Love You" and "O, Promise Me."

Mr. and Mrs. Waring will reside on the home farm near Strawberry Point.
