On Thursday, Jan. 26th, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sherm Krohn, Marquette, Iowa, occurred the marriage of their daughter Sherma to Mr. Harold Kruse of this city. The attendants were Miss Alice Bachtell of McGregor and Mr. Roy Linzenmeier, friends of the bridal couple. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Gable of McGregor. Mr. Kruse, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kruse, was born and raised here. He graduated with the class of 1925, and is now employed with his father on the railroad as bridge carpenter. The bride has lived in Marquette all her life, and graduated from the Marquette High School class of 1926, she is employed as telephone operator with the Bell Telephone Co. at McGregor. They left on a week's wedding trip to Chicago, Milwaukee and Janesville, Wis., after which they will make their home in Marquette, Iowa.
