Wednesday morning, Dec. 7th, a very pretty wedding was celebrated at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Cook, of Read township, when their daughter Cora was married to George W. Kuehl, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Kuehl, of Boardman township. Rev. Franke performed the ceremony. The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Nora Cook, and Miss Lizzie Schneider, of Hallam, Neb., while William Ehrhardt and Fritz Kuehl attended the groom. Mr. and Mrs Kuehl were born and raised here. Mr. and Mrs. Kuehl will go west to visit relatives at Hallum and other points in Nebraska, after which they will make their home on a farm about four miles west of Elkader.
