Tuesday, May 17th, 1910, At St. Michael's church at Elkport, occurred the marriage of Josephine Waterman, of this place, to John C. Rupple, of Postville. They were attended by Maude and Alfred Hall, of Strawberry Point, Iowa, niece and nephew of the bride. A bountiful dinner was partaken at the home of the bride's sister, Mrs. D. C. Collins. The bride has been a successful Clayton County teacher, while Mr. Rupple is interested in farming. After a short wedding trip they will be at home to their friends at Postville.
