Wirkler - Soltow marriage - 1910

WIRKLER, SOLTOW, ABEL

At the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Soltow, at Cresco, Ia., Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 23rd, 1910, occurred the marriage of Miss Lena N. Soltow, to Eldo W. Wirkler, Rev. Otto Wappler officiating. Those from here who attended the wedding were: Mr. and Mrs. O. H. Wirkler, Mr. and Mrs. W. Miller, Mr. and Mrs. G. Bothel, Mr. and Mrs. E. Scierholz, Eddie, Adele, Esther and Marie Wirkler. The young couple are well and favorably known in Monona, and the groom was born and raised in this community. The bride is a sister of Mrs. F. G. Abel. They will go to housekeeping here, having rented the Geo. W. Cook residence.
