Berns - Fassbinder marriage - 1914

In St. Mary's Catholic Church in this city on Tuesday morning Rev. Father J. H. Brinkman united in the holy bonds of matrimony Mr. Alexander Berns, of National, and Miss Cecilia Fassbinder, of Jefferson township. Werner Fassbinder, brother of the bride, and Miss Clara Berns, sister of the groom, were the attendants. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gottfried Fassbinder, of Jefferson township. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Berns, of National, and is one of Clayton Counties progressive young farmers. The happy young couple will make their home on a farm near Monona.
