Berns - Auer marriage - 1914

Wednesday morning, Jan. 28th, at 9 o'clock at St. Joseph's Catholic church, occurred the marriage of Miss Agnes Auer to Mr. Bernard Berns, both of this place. Rev. Raedler was celebrant of the Nuptial Mass in the presence of relatives and friends of the bride and groom. The bride is the third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Auer, having been born and grown to womanhood here. The groom is the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Berns, of this city, and one of the progressive farmers of Farmersburg township. Maid of honor was Miss Calesta Auer, sister of the bride. The groomsman was Mr. Hugo Matt, a cousin of the groom. Mr. and Mrs. Berns will make their home on a farm northeast of National.
